Russia is by far the largest country in the world, with a landmass consisting of vast plains in the west and north, and a discontinuous belt of mountains and plateaus in the south and east. This is a land of deadly winters, but also of rivers that meander across meadows and a midsummer sun that never sets. Its people are generous and hospitable.

Our ride here is a trail to Baikal Lake. You will start in Moscow which is a fascinating city, then travel on the Trans-Siberian Railway to Irkutsk and the shores of the Baikal Lake in the wilds of Siberia. This exclusive trail has been specially designed to include all the best natural and cultural sights of the area and the locally bred Orlov horses make easy work of the rolling grassy terrain.

Why not extend your stay before your ride and catch a ballet at the Bolshoi theatre or a fun trip to the Moscow State Circus. It is the land of monasteries and churches, magical white nights, rivers and blue lakes.
