This well thought-out equestrian trail traverses the National Park of Biogradska, formed by glaciers and crisscrossed with rivers as well as the dramatic Tara River Canyon. Experience horseback riding across mountain summer pastures full of indigenous flora, medicinal herbs and mountain berries, and be awed by the majestic mountain ranges and crystal clear mountain lakes. This is not a fast-paced ride, so it gives horseback riders the opportunity to really enjoy the amazing scenery. It is also a good choice for adventurous novice horseback riders who have good balance and confidence.
Stay overnight in eco lodges and cabins, only accessible during the summer months, where the horses spend the night in the pastures next to the simple cabins. The night skies in this remote region offers fantastic starscapes.
