Enjoy mountain scenery in this hospitable country which has a tradition of excellent horsemanship. The riding is at all paces where the terrain permits on responsive, fit horses. For good riders. Ride through villages surrounded by the towering Rhodopes Mountains and visit Bulgaria's second largest monastery, the Bachkovo Monastery.

Riding through the Alberta Rockies

Ride the Continental divide between Alberta and British Columbia in Canada on this 8-day trail. Pack trip in the Northern Rockies

Journey to the Muskwa-Kechika in the northern part of British Columbia's Rocky Mountains and join a full-on wilderness expedition into this remote region. In 2019, the expedition will leave the Alaska Highway in mid-June at Mile 172 and emerge near Mile 400 in mid-September, with riders joining for 2 week jaunts along the way.

This is remote wilderness riding, as wild as it gets. Participants do not need to be experienced horse-riders but must be physically fit and able to cope with up to ten hours riding along river valleys, alpine ridges, and high mountain passes.

  • 2020: Expedition 1: 15th-29th Jun; Expedition 2: 6th-20th Jul; Expedition 3: 20th Jul-3rd Aug; Expedition 4: 24th Aug-7th Sep; Expedition 5: 7th-21st Sep.

  • Riding Ability Required: This is a tough trail where general fitness is more important than riding ability. Riders should be confident in walk and trot and be able to mount and dismount repeatedly, lead and saddle your horse.
