Being riding fit is also essential on a lot of these rides as the pace and hours can be demanding.
Rides listed here are not always at a fast pace (although they may be), but all contain some challenges not suitable for novice or nervous riders such as very challenging terrain, very sensitive, forward going or highly schooled horses, or wildlife that may necessitate a hasty retreat.
