Natural horsemanship is the philosophy of working with horses by appealing to their natural herd instincts.

It involves communication techniques derived from wild horse observation in order to build a partnership that closely resembles the relationships that exists between horses within their social groups.

These rides incorporate elements of natural horsemanship. It may be the way the horses are trained or the manner in which you hosts encourage you to communicate with their horses. In both cases an equal and mutually respectful bond is sought between horse and rider.
