We rode at 3 estancias, the 'good' comment refers only really to the 1st estancia, the other two (the second estancia in particular) were excellent both in the condition and quality of the horses and of the tack.

Overall yes, there were some changes to the itinerary but these were unavoidable due to recent fires and in many respects the trip we had was even better than the one described

The one area of improvement could be the tipping. We were advised of a total amount before we left but ended up having to tip individual people along the way with no real guide as to how much each person should be receiving. As a result we all spent a lot more money on tips than we had been expecting - not necessarily a bad thing - but it would be better to either have this information up front or to have a more general means of tipping.

The horses were all very well mannered and very 'unflappable' so there was never any real concern that someone may go galloping off into the sunset. There were however several long faster canter sections in large open areas (these were fantastic :)) but may frighten the inexperienced/novice rider. However, the ride was described as one for advanced riders so was entirely in keeping with the brochure description.
