An opportunity to enjoy the varied and impressive natural environment of Tuscany on a point to point camping trail. Scenery includes mountain pastures, the wilderness of the Fiora river valley and canyons in tuff-rock. Swim in the Stellata, which is the river of thermal waters that springs from the famous waterfalls. Ride in the Maremma hills and visit the Etruscan necropolis of Puntone, where the remains of Etruscan tombs reside in a splendid sycamore wood. Stop for a picnic near Rochette di Fazio, a WWF oasis where the river spills out onto rocks curved by the running water.
With special attention paid to the camps, your comfort is assured even in the middle of this splendid natural environment, a real pleasure far away from civilisation. Sitting around the camp fire in the evening and taking care of the horses together makes for a warm team environment. For a nature loving rider this horse riding holiday is a good way to get started in western riding too.
