The leaders of this trail ride were 100% competant in all horsemanship matters, and also pretty good at summing up peoples abilities.
Wonderful host, made you feel special, relaxed and happy, the attention they showed us at all times was excellent.
They would do anything for you, so you enjoyed yourselves.

Very good, well behaved horses, who were ready and fit for their job, and are in fantastic condition.
This ride is not for novices though as you rightly state the ride description.

Only thing I thought, was that perhaps it would have been nice to have a wee introduction to your horse or 1/2 hour ride on the sunday of arrival, as we found it took us a half day or the first day to "get to know your horse", I think we all felt that way, and on the 2nd day were much happier/relaxed, as we'd sort of got to know our neddies, but that would be the same for any ride on horses that are not yours, and this is not a critisisium just a thought. But that would mean no days off for the horses, so maybe not a good idea after all.

For me personally, - after I'd got to know my horses character, I throughly enjoyed the ride she gave me, but at first I was a bit worrried/nervous of her. But on our second and future days was happy with her. I felt this was not a difficult route to ride and thoroughly enjoyed the very varied terrain we rode thru, none the likes of we ride at home,

a riding holiday, something we'd always dreamed about, but never thought we'd do. Then we started making enqiries with someone else in Tuscany, but she was very slow to get back to us, then decided an agency was the safer way to go and remembered your brochure picked up from Blair Atholl.

This really was a stunning trial ride, with so much variety on the route, no 2 days were alike, the food, was something else, never had the same thing twice! ( except a wee ice-cream shop that we found and that was delicious!) The hosts Michelle and Michela could take royalty out and know how to treat them, One member of our paty doesn't like pasta, so somethign else different was pre arranged for her every meal time, there was so many little things that made it all so excellent, they rememberd how each of us liked there coffee, made sure our accomadation was fine, i.e. comfy beds, hot water etc. it was truly, brilliant and would choose these same hosts, for a future holiday (but on a different route)
