Important to make sure one has a torch for "putting the horses to bed" at night.
Accommodation all nights out on the trail would be fabulous if possible, rather than leaving the horses and travelling back to base. Perhaps someone could say to the hotel/rooms on the coast that 3 single beds are required when applicable rather than one double and one single bed - it made for much tossing of coins and a cosy night!!

The riding itself is not hard if you are an experienced rider, but you need to be a well experienced rider used to riding in this sort of terrain and coping with any eventualities to cope with the "whole package" as it were. One more experienced rider per group would be OK.

Danni, Thanks for all your help. The ride was brilliant and lived up to our high expectations. A real memory for life. I can't wait to do the next one. The only difficulty was leaving Macho my wonderful little horse behind at the end of the holiday. PS we did say Hi to Hermes for you. Thanks once again.
It is not possible, unfortunately, to find suitable accommodation throughout the trail, but the single bed issue has certainly been addressed!
