Getting to Kefalonia

You have two options:

1) fly direct to Kefalonia-Argostoli airport (mostly summer months only)

Indirect Flights
You can also fly from Athens to Kefalonia-Argostoli:

2) fly to Athens and get a bus and Ferry.

It is very easy to reach Kefalonia by bus and ferry from Athens. You need to get a bus from the airport to      Peplones bus station. The cost is just a few euros and can take up to an hour. From here there is a 3 hour bus   journey to the port of Patras where you get the ferry to Sami. Your hosts will be waiting for you at the port.
