Here at the home of Annabella and Jean Paul you are accommodated in simple twin bedded or double rooms with en suite facilities. Each day you ride out morning and evening into the beautiful surrounding countryside, returning to your comfortable base to enjoy a swim in the pool, sunning or exploring the region in between rides. Meals are taken in a communal dining room and a holiday atmosphere is apparent. Excellent regional cuisine is served here. The horses are beautifully looked after and steady to ride and there is plenty of assistance at hand to sort out stirrups and look after the horses for you.

SAMPLE ITINERARY - RELAXED DORDOGNE
In the area there are wonderful opportunities to discover the French life from horseback on this great horse riding holiday. Extensive forests, small villages, narrow tracks only used by goats and sheep are followed.
The week starts on Saturday afternoon where you will meet the other riders in your group. On Sunday morning we will introduce everybody to his/her horse that you will keep for the rest of the week. After taking care of your horse, we take a trial ride in the area. The afternoon is free.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday we will take a whole day ride. We start in the morning, taking care of the horses (feeding, grooming and saddling) and then leave for the rest of the day. We will ride to a goose-farm, a trout-farm, a watermill, a small restaurant or a farmer’s house with homemade lunches or we can have a picnic in the romantic surroundings. During our stay, the horses will remain at pasture, so if anybody wants to enjoy a “siesta” after a good meal, no problem!
On the other days there will be half-day rides. In the morning you are free to enjoy the hotel, swimming pool and surrounding area. You can go to Nadaillac, a very pretty village, to the windmill of Gignac or walk in the forests around the hotel. In the afternoon you can relax, join the horse rides, do some other sport or visit one of the famous caves, for example .
On Friday evening there is a farewell dinner with the specialties of the Périgord.
Departure is on Saturday morning.
Due to the hot weather from the 3rd July to 28th August 2010 there will be slightly fewer riding hours per day. The riding day will start earlier in the morning and half day rides will take place, leaivng the afternoon's free to explore or relax. Should the weather be a little more forgiving then riding may take place in the afternoons, this decision will be made at the time.
Please note: This itinerary is given for your guidance only and it may be altered in accordance with the prevailing conditions by the organising team.
