Moulin sur Alliers

Moulin sur Alliers takes 2:20 by fast train from Paris, Gare de Lyon. The Coreal Teoz line is modern and fast with only one stop en route and there are 5 or 6 departures every day. This can be booked via Rail Europe: www.raileurope.co.uk or often better 08448 484 064.

From Gare du Nord (where Eurostar trains arrive) is easily done with public transport - 2 stops on the RER line D cost  €1.60, allow 90 minutes to be safe, usually takes 30min. A taxi should cost less than €20 and take under 30min in 2010.

Charles de Gaulle Airport is also on RER line B, one change required at Chatelet des Halles to line D for Gare de Lyon. Various airport buses make the direct journey frequently for about €5 each way in 2010. A taxi is about €40-50 in 2010 and should take about 40min.

If taking a taxi please note there are often long queues for taxis at French train stations and airports.

Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is the nearest airport if hiring a car (about a 2.5hrs drive) and the following airlines fly here: British Airways, Easyjet, Thomson, Aer Lingus.
