SAMPLE ITINERARY - RIDE AND SPA BREAK
Day 1 Arrive in the morning and settle into your accommodation. Meet your horse and ride around the estate for a gentle introduction to the horse and riding holiday. Ride along the tracks in the ancient wildwoods, watch out for deer and wild boar in the woods. You may well ride past two of the oldest oak trees in Poland - one is 650 years old and the other 800 years old - both alive and kicking! You will ride through the gently rolling hills and meadows arriving back at the stables after approximately 3 hours.
Day 2 Ride through the ancient forest, across the former Russian miliary airfield which is large, open and flat - ideal for a good canter or gallop and after a cool off walk through the meadows you arrive at the glorious long seashore with white sands. After enjoying 3 miles of sands to canter on (except in the height of summer when you'll ride through he shade of shoreside trees) you leave the beach and ride through an tree lined avenue through the salty swamps which is renowned for the number and variety of waterbirds feeding and nesting there. Leaving the trees you ride along quiet lanes through a small village and make your way back. Approx. 3 hours riding.
Day 3 Riding beside the Kolberg forest and then entering it you'll ride past the old oak again but this time going deeper into the forest along the quiet tracks. Leaving the forest you'll ride through the village which was one of the first in the region to discover salt centuries ago. Returning home via more lush meadows and tracks.
Day 4
After breakfast, say goodbye to your horse and make the trip back to the airport and home.
The order of the rides is dependent on the weather and may be changed.
