However, he could speak German, so our German co-riders were able to translate for us! Regarding the pacing of the ride, I did not find it fast. It is quite slow as there are a lot of steep tracks and forest trails where you can only walk. Also, we were unlucky with the weather on two of the days and the ground was too soft to do any trotting or cantering. However, the scenery was beautiful and the horses were excellent. My horse Sara was extremely well behaved and a pleasure to ride the entire week! It is not fast paced due to riding through forests alot of the time. There are some difficult parts where the trail is quite steep up and down but the horses are well able to manage!
