Beginner and lunge lessons are available as well as faster paced rides rides and lessons in dressage or show jumping for experienced riders. The stables are on site and are home to 34 horses of all sizes and shapes. They range from ponies to 16.2hh dressage horses. They are all ridden in English tack and looked after to international standards. There is a covered riding hall and outdoor arena. The outdoor arena has stunning views of the surrounding rice paddies, the covered riding hall allows for riding even on a rainy day. Riders enjoy being on horseback surrounded by coconut palms and fragrant tropical flowers.
Riding:
The normal riding programme for riders consists of:
1 dressage lesson
1 x 3 hour beach tour
3 x 2 hour beach tour
1 full day mountain tour*
*Please note that the full day mountain tour carries a small surcharge if only 1 rider is booked on.
The beginner riding programme consists of:
5 lunge lessons or dressage/flatwork lessons
2 x 2 hour beach tour

Beach Tours:
Open to all ranges of adult riders & children from 8 years onwards, the tour starts from the stables, passes through a Balinese village, down across a river, and out onto a small stretch of road that leads directly to fabulous Batu Belig beach. For the longer beach tour riders will follow this stunning beach up along the coast until Berawa Beach for an hour then turn into the rice fields and ride for 30 minutes alongside the paddies, stopping at a beachside hotel for refreshments.
This tour is concluded on the same route back. Experienced riders will have the chance to canter along the sandy shores.
Beginner Lunge Lessons: This private lesson is offered to instill confidence in beginners and is conducted in the riding hall or outdoor arena, with the rider led by an instructor who has the horse on a lunge (long rope). The rider does not steer the horse, but learns to move with the horse through different paces - walk, trot and canter.
Dressage Lessons: These are appropriate for intermediate and experienced riders. Intermediate riders will learn to refinely steer horses directionally. Experienced riders will fulfill dressage skills.
Show Jumping:
Due to the respect of the horses, these lessons are strictly for experienced riders. Riders will be instructed on how to gauge distance as well as keep horses in line to further their jumping seat.
NOTES - BALI
There is a reasonably priced restuarant on site serving European and Balinese dishes such as daily fresh grilled seafood and meat dishes, homemade pasta and ravioli, different salads. The restaurant is open from 7am - 11pm. There are others within walking distance and the nearest spa is 200 meters away. There is plenty of time to relax and explore the islands offerings and we can arrange island tours on request.
The quietly situated deluxe guestrooms are individually decorated with selected art pieces and fabrics, utilizing elegant coconut wood furniture. All rooms offer rice field and sunset views. A private balcony terrace in front of each room invites guests to relax with views of the surrounding Balinese gardens.
