As no one in the office had done this ride i was not sure how it would be but it was grand + I hope

Kathy the owner,leader was very careful.Very friendly + kind. our group was a German mother + daughter + a young Australian girl + me.
The ride was very well organised.

Horses were nice Arabs + part Arabs. I found them nice to ride and the leader was clear that the riders should be very experienced. However the riders in the group were not as experienced as they should have been which may have been a little problem.Most of the horses were ridden without bridles and as there are only a small no of horses the possibility of change was limited if you did not like the horse you were given.
The horses were in nice condition + fit + responsive.Tack was endurance type saddles.

Riding was mainly from centre + returning only one overnight. The weather was pretty awful but we did get wet gear. beach ride on last day was divided between riders so we only rode for half day as we shared horses.
Kathy our hostess washed our clothes etc to help us with rain problems.
Food was very European/German as opposed to Australian. Kathy the owner/leader is Dutch so the ride felt much more European.There are only four riders max on the ride which I enjoyed as they were all very friendly but other clients might find that a bit limited.

Probably should be flagged that weather in autumn/winter in NSW can be very wet..it is a tropical area.
Also food is not Australian/English but Dutch German. We did have one overnight in an Australian alpacca farm + that felt like a really authentic Australian experience.
as above. It is a lovely area rainforest riding plenty of galloping on forward Arab horses.The beach part of the ride is only one day/part of a day.

I really enjoyed the horses+ the rides. They were fast at times but nothing very difficult.
The others in the ride had less experience than Kathy was led to believe but I don't think that it made a significant difference to the difficulty of the ride.

This was my 4th riding holiday with unicorn. When i was travelling to Australia I automatically chose unicorn as we have been very happy with the service + advice in the past.This holiday has not changed my view of unicorn as a very professional yet personal travel company.
