We had an excellent team consisting of leader Abdul, second rider Abraham, a cook and a truck driver. All worked extremely hard to make sure we all enjoyed our holiday - stressing it was our holiday and they were there to do the donkey work. A first class set up in every way.

We were, in my opinion, well matched with our horses. There were 8 guests all with differing levels of experience and bravery. Horses selected for each person were spot on.

The only thing I can possibly criticise is the list of things to take. No need at all for water purification as always supplied with bottled water.

This was not everybody's cup of tea!! I thoroughly enjoyed it but I suspect some of the guests were a little doubtful about the amount of climbing, descending and following mule/donkey tracks which were very narrow across scree sided mountains with big drops below. If you trusted your horse and sat still and balanced without interfering it was fine! I am used to hunting on Exmoor so not much different.

Talking to the guide I understand the company he works for is tied into Unicorn Trails exclusively for English riders. He also said he only had 3 more dates for this ride this year but is taking other nationalities to the Sahara, the beach and another different Atlas Mountains ride. Possibly you could be more proactive in selling these as the prices are excellent at the moment when comparing with Europe.

By far the best riding holiday I have experienced so far. Didn't think I would take to camping but it was fine. The stallions were full of character but nothing unrideable if you had confidence - not for the novice rider although one of our party from Belgium was a novice (but a young man!) and he got away with it - how I don't know.
Packing list has now been updated. Our other Moroccan rides (Atlas Mountains, Skoura and Essaouira Beach) can be seen on the Moroccan web page on our website.
