We could have done a slightly longer ride one day - but appreciate summer weather was too hot for the horses.

I was the least experienced rider inthe group and I feel it was kept safe for me - canters and gallops were not too long and kept under very good control by the leader.

We had a great holiday - riding was excellent, meals very good, tours and excursions interesting - we would certainly recommend it.

Only criticism was we needed a longer break after riding/lunch and then the excusions - we only had 30 mins to wash and change before afternoon activities, which meant we were heading into Cairo city most days at 1300 when it was very hot and we were quite tired. Would have been better to have a longer break (say 2 hours) so time for a swim and relax. But appreicate that some Cairo sights closed at 6pm. Would also have liked to tour Saqqara area on foot after one of the rides and had a closer look at the pyramids there. Cairo traffic extremely heavy all day, took 1 - 1.5 hours to reach city centre from our hotel. Our drivers did not speak English which was a shame as they could not explain to us where we were in the city or what we were looking at! However, Egyptologist tours were very gooda but rather rushed (because of traffic delays!). DO GIVE ME A CALL IF YOU NEED MORE DETAILS AND I WILL EXPLAIN.
