Late afternoon arrive at the lodge for dinner and overnight, where riders can relax with beverages served in the dining or lounge areas overlooking the lake.

Day 3
Ride along some of the rural roads where years ago many colonists lived. Here you can imagine how life might have been in days gone by when the area was filled with an abundance of families. The afternoon takes you through lushly forested areas, and later you may rest beside a waterfall on the Petchedez River, where weather permitting, swimming is possible. As shadows lengthen reach tonights comfortable and friendly destination . Here riders are treated to warm hospitality and a sumptuous meal.

Day 4
Begin the day riding along the Petchedez River, then on through a magnificent maple forest, which is ablaze with color in the autumn. Continue on to a trout hatchery where you fish for your evening meal. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the trout pond. In the afternoon ride over vast rolling farmland with glimpses of the sea in the distance. Return to last night’s accommodations for another evening, where the freshly caught trout will be prepared for your evening meal.

Day 5
The route today climbs to the highest point of the Chic-Chocs hills (about 1,350 feet), where riders have a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside of forests, lakes, villages, meadows, and the ocean in the distance. Enjoy a picnic lunch while seated on a bluff overlooking the area. After lunch a short ride to Lac Malcolm to relax in the late afternoon before dinner and overnight.

Day 6
On this final day of riding the trail crosses rolling meadows, through woodland heading towards "Beaulieu", an organic farm located at Baie des Sables (Sandy Bay). Lise will prepare a hearty, delicious meal from products of the farm in the irresistible country charm of a century-old home. After lunch visit the charming little town of Les Boules, with old houses, quaint gardens, and a panoramic view of the seaside and three large rock formations in the water, after which Les Boules is named. Ride along the beach, and if one is lucky, discover seals sunning themselves and ducks rising and falling with the ocean waves. Here riders enjoy the Bonzai canter (about 2 kms. long) in a flat field parallel to the beach, with perfect footing no matter what the weather. As the route continues it moves away from the coast towards the first nights inn, for a final overnight and a special farewell dinner prepared by Mathieu.
