This is a fantastic opportunity to ride in an unspoilt natural beach environment off the shore of Estonia and enjoy the charms of historic Tallin on the last day. We start with a short flight to the little city of Kärdla, situated on the island Hiiumaa, which is an experience in itself. There are magnificent views of the beautiful island's white sandy beaches and deep blue ocean. When arriving you get the feeling of being in another world with peaceful days that come and go. The island consists mainly of forest in the middle, open fields with old farm houses and long beaches where the bird life is magnificent. The horses are brought up and live their life free along the beaches. They are brought in for riding and then let out after every day so they can be with the rest of the herd. The week ends with a day in Tallinn’s old city inside the stone walls. Dinner here in one of the medieval restaurants gives a wonderful end to the trip.

SAMPLE ITINERARY - ESTONIA TRAIL RIDE

Day 1
Arrival in Tallin Airport and flight from Tallinn to Kärdla on Hiiumaa Island. Transfer from Kärdla airport to accommodation. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 2
Breakfast followed by riding in Kassari peninsula. Today we choose horses and take a test ride in the morning. In the afternoon we enjoy a fantastic beach ride along Kassaris long deserted beaches. Lunch / picnic whilst on the ride. Dinner in Vetsi Tall consisting of Estonian national dishes using the traditional recipies.

Day 3
Breakfast and riding in Kassari peninsula (6 hours) including a picnic lunch. On the following riding days ejoy we long trails along Hiiumaas beaches including a tour out in the ocean to a even more beautiful little sand island. Dinner and overnight in Dagen Haus.

Day 4
After breakfast we drive to North-Hiiumaa and check into the hotel. Picnic lunch followed by 4 hours riding in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the hotel. The ride continues through the middle of the island through an interesting forest landscape.

Day 5
Breakfast followed by riding for 5 hours including a picnic lunch. Some picnic lunches are served close to old beautiful farms. Dinner in hotel.

Day 6
Breakfast and riding for 4 hours. Lunch/ picnic and dinner in Padu. Towards the end of the trip we will visit some interesting memory marks that bond Estonian and Swedish history.

Day 7
Transfer from hotel to Kärdla airport and fly from Kärdla to Tallinn. Overnight in hotel in Tallinn. The group often decides to explore the city and meet up for a farewell dinner in an atmospheric medieval restuarant walking distance from the hotel.

Day 8
Breakfast in hotel before departing.

GETTING TO HELLINN

The weight limit for this ride is 15 st/209 lb/95 kg, please enquire if you are an experienced rider exceeding this weight.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
Internal flights Tallinn-Kärdla-Tallinn, all transfers except day 8 back to airport from Tallin, all brakfast, 6 dinners and 5 picnic lunches, all riding and guiding.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
Lunch and dinner on the last day in Tallin, drinks, tranfer from hotel in Tallin to airport on day 8, tips and items of a personal nature. Your hotel can call you a taxi which should cost about £5 or we can prebook a private transfer at a set time for you.
